Data Protection Statement for the website
In as far as our website offers you the option to enter personal data (email addresses, names, addresses), disclosure of that data by the user is on a strictly voluntary basis.
If you contact us by email, fax or telephone, we will process the personal data provided to us exclusively for the purpose of answering your inquiry or subsequently for possible contract initiation or to fulfill contractual obligations.
Each user has the right to information about his/her personal data stored, its origins and recipients, the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction, erasure, objection or portability of such data at any time. The information is free of charge if it concerns current data of a data application and if no earlier request for information has been made in the current year.
Cookies
This website uses “cookies” to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer.
A “cookie” is a small text file which we transmit to the cookie file of the browser on the hard disk of your computer via our web server. This enables our website to recognise you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to establish the frequency of use and the number of users of our websites. The content of the cookies used by us is limited to an identification number which no longer allows any direct reference to the user. The main objective of a cookie is to identify visitors to the website.
Two types of cookies are used on this website:
- Session cookies: are temporary cookies which are stored in the cookie file of your browser until you leave our website and which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.
- Persistent cookies: are saved on your device and allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit in order to enhance user-friendliness.
You may adjust your browser settings so that you will be informed about the placement of cookies and only allow them on a case-by-case basis, refuse to accept them for specific cases only or generally refuse or automatically delete cookies when you close your browser. The functionality of this website may be restricted as a result of deactivating cookies.
Server logfiles
In order to optimise this website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and provision of useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transfers to us. This includes your internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language settings, operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider and the date/time.
The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest to ensure system security, to technically administer the website and to optimise our service quality.
This data will not be combined with personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data at a later date if and when we learn of specific indications of unlawful use.
Server logs will be stored for a maximum of four weeks.
Use of Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our website. With the integration of this service, we are able to display the Google map service directly on our website and thus enable you to use the map function. Through the integration, data can be sent to Google and may be used by Google. When you visit our website, data is not automatically transmitted to Google. Data is only transmitted to Google once you have agreed to its use. You give your consent by clicking the button “View map” on the map. To ensure protection against unwanted connections with external services from Google Maps, we use the GDPR Map Tool from exovia.
Further information on Google Maps and the exact scope and purpose of data processing by Google can be found in the data protection declaration of Google Inc. at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is responsible for data processing at the recipient of the transmission.
